This Veranda teak armchair incorporates a gentle curve in the lumbar and seating panels that have become known as the Wave.  The Wave's effect results in the lucky occupant receiving just the right amount of Lumbar back support to be comfortable for extended periods. The additional gentle Wave curve in the seat panel allows for an unexpected level of comfort for a teak wood armchair with no cushion.  Nevertheless, cushions are available in a range of colors (below).  

The first thing that one notices upon sitting into the Veranda Armchair is the size and the smell of the chair around you.  The wide stance gives you ample room in between the arms, but not so wide as to make you feel uncomfortable.  You will not be able to resist touching and caressing the surface of the chair's arms, for they are sanded and buffed to an extremely smooth finish.  The chair is large, but yet it is still maneuverable.  Words may come to mind as you relax in the Veranda Armchair, and "throne" just may be one of them!
