Many competitor's disguise the fact that their furniture is either made from Shorea wood, which is NOT teak by any stretch of the imagination, and/or use a combination of Teak and Shorea wood which will not hold up as well as 100% solid Teak furniture. Also, it is very important to make sure you are buying Teak furniture that was made from "kiln dried" lumber, and not "green" lumber which has a high moisture content and will start warping over time when left outdoors.
